Show Will never forget Vernal Dear Editor; r.i . n. On Wednesday, Dec. 10 at about 11:30 a.m. east of Vernal on Highway 40, I was involved in a wreck with my truck from St. George Steel in which the tractor overturned and was pinned for about V-i hours. I would like to publicly thank everyone who worked so hard and long to get me out, all of whom I don't know, but I surely hope they will read this letter in your paper. Among those I wish to thank and recognize as the ones I remember helping are the wrecker trucks, the highway patrol, ambulance drivers, nurses at the hospital, Dr. Winder and any others who were there. I am so grateful to be alive, and altho my healing process will take a long time as I am still in the hospital and will be for several more weeks, the thought-fulness thought-fulness and kindess of so many people in the Vernal area will never be forgotten. Sincerely, MAILON A BARLOW |
