Top 4-H team competes in Denver Uintah County's top 4-H Livestock Judge Team in the state of Utah will travel to Denver, Jan. 16, to compete in the national western finals. i The 4-H Judging Team, Lynnette Morrill, Brent Morrill, Steven Harrison and Evan Harrison, went to Logan, Utah last September with Steven Cox, Uintah County agent, to compete against livestock judging teams from several Utah counties. The Uintah County team placed first, Utah County placed second, and Box Elder County placed third. This is the first time on record that Uintah County placed first at State 4-H competition. After winning the state competition, the team was given the opportunity to attend the National Western 4-H Roundup Roun-dup at Denver and to compete in the 4-H judging competition for the western states. The livestock judging will take place Jan. 17 at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colo. The group will judge eight classes of livestock and three classes of breeding and market cattle of which one will be a class of bulls, three classes of breeding and market sheep and two classg breeding and market swine. The Uintah County team will' Jan. 16 to compete in the judgij,: petition. Other state 4-H wiml areas of agriculture demons5 dairy judging, meal preparation t energy and clothing will fly to D-' Jan. 18, to join the livestock team.
