She returned from Salt Lake with Bernard, Lucille and Pauline Winkler as far as Bluebell Friday where she spent the night with the Winklers, returning to her home Saturday. A testimonial for Paul D. Merrell who will leave next week for the Missionary Training Center in Provo to prepare for an LDS mission in the Winnepeg Canada mission, was held Sunday, Jan. 11 in the Naples chapel. Ernest Calloway of Kansas has spent a week visiting with Bishop and Mrs. Kristen Wilson and family. Mr. Calloway is Mrs. Wilson's father. Charlie and Chris McClary of Denver visited their grandparents Clyde and Ina Chivers over last weekend. Arva Redden of Naples 2nd Ward had her art exhibit and reception at the Uintah County Library Friday evening. Toni Reynolds accompanied by Annette Reynolds and son Kevin, went to Salt Lake City Wednesday where Kevin had a medical check up. Karla Merrell of Ephriam and Elaine Merrell of Salt Lake City visited over the weekend with their parents Grant and Frances Merrell and family. Wendell and Zina Duke of Salt Lake City were here to attend their grandson Paul Merrells' testimonial Sunday. Brenda Olsen entertained a group of youngsters at a birthday party for her son Gregory's sixth birthday Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. They enjoyed games and refreshments. In the evening Gregory's grandparents Kedric and Freda Caldwell and the Charles Olsens enjoyed birthday cake and ice cream. |
