Show Country Meadows enjoys 'Bunny Lunch' Easter time is loaded with activity at Country Meadows Early Education Center. Egbert the Easter Egg and Peter Cottontail came to life in Collage and song. Children made and ate their favorite Easter character cookies. On Thursday, April 9, Peter Cottontail Cot-tontail himself, came to school to be the honored guest at the annual Bunny Lunch. Peter, a New Zealand white rabbit owned by Clark Barker, spent the day munching on celery, carrots, broccoli and cabbage while the children made and wore their own bunny hats and enjoyed a special salad bar of these nutritious goodies. On Friday, Aprij 10, the students enrolled in the Suzuki Music Program presented an Easter Recital for parents and guests. Student violinists were: Raymond Terry, Piper Pittsenbargar, Wyatt ' Pittsenbargar, Grizz Oleen, Bradley Whitebeck, Billy Hacker, Garrett Oleen, Jennifer Oleen, Corey Hackford, Chris Ylincheta, and Merietta Oviatt. Student pianists performing were: Brandi Staley, Merietta Oviatt, Brian Godlove, Becky Godlove, Danielle Burningham, Nathan Burningham, Jeremy Haakinson, Josh Haakinson, Cortney Pierce, Jesse Poff, Rachelle Perry, Fawn Perry, Jared Fisher, Marci Galley, Curtis Drollinger, Jolynn Drollinger, Joelle Oviatt, Jackie Blacklock, Analisa Blacklock. Student artists and guest enjoyed punch and Easter cookies at the conclusion of the recital. |
