Show Uintah Watercolor Society exhibits at library An exhibition from the Utah Watercolor Society will be on display at the Uintah County Library from April 15 to May 15. This exhibition is part of the Utah Art Council's Traveling Exhibition Program. The watercolors in this exhibition . were chosen from the Utah Watercolor Society's 6th Annual Juried Exhibition. Juried by a group of nationally-recognized nationally-recognized watercolorists, the works were initially exhibited at the Salt Lake Art Center. They display significant development in originality and technique in the watercolor medium. The Utah Watercolor Society is endeavoring en-deavoring to accomplish two purposes through this exhibition: to educate the viewer to the significance of water-colors water-colors as an important painting medium, and to encourage artists to excel in the use of the medium. The Traveling Exhibition Program is a statewide outreach service of the Utah Arts Council. The program provides schools, museums, and galleries throughout the state with over twenty choices of exhibitions which may be booked free of charge for a period of a month.
