Oil service company moves into new shop A local oil well service casing drilling and swabbing company has completed a new shop and office structure at 1382 East Highway 40. Benco Oil Well Services moved into its new building which has two acres of parking area. Ben Bridges, president of the company, com-pany, says his business is centered around two Bucyrus-Erie air drilling rigs and can blow a 17-inch diameter hole in solid rock and can go as deep as 3,000 feet. Benco Services sets surface casing on oil well swabbing units to clean out the well. The service serves Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Nevada and Idaho. Besides the two air rigs, Bridges said his company has two swabbing rigs. He said that five years ago his company spent most of its time in the swabbing business. Then three years ago they started drilling rat and mouse holes for oil wells. Just a month ago the service got into the air drilling business. Prior to his oil well service, Bridges owned a heating and air conditioning business in the local area. Benco Services also has an office in Grand Junction, Colo. |
