'tj S THREE GENERATIONS of family enjoyed themselves at the annual an-nual Lady Lion's Mother and Daughter party held Wed., April 8 in the Uintah High School cafeteria. Lucille Caldwell, right, shares some dessert with her granddaughter, Cassie Rollins. Cassie is seated on her mother's lap, Lynette Rollins. Cassie and Lynette were Lucille's guests for the evening Easter dinner. Lady Lions enjoy annual dinner social The Vernal Lady Lions held their annual Mothers and Daughters party Wednesday April 8 at the Uintah High School Cafeteria. The party was decorated around an Easter theme. Approximately 70 ladies with their daughters and granddaughters enjoyed a hamburger supper while they were entertained by music students attending at-tending Country Meadows Early Education Center. Colleen Bell, 4 year old daughter of Dr. and Mrs. David Bell, played a piano medley of children songs. A group of young violinists consisting of Merietta Oviatt, Piper Pitt- senbargar, Raymond Terry, Wyatt Pittsenbargar, Jennifer Oleen and Chris Ylincheta played "Lightly Row" as a violin duet. All violin students were accompanied by their instructor,-Ora Fay Oviatt. i Kathy Burt and Kristy Sullivan then led the children in an Easter parade with songs and rhymes after which the Easter rabbit appeared to give each child a special Easter treat. Committee members for the event were Shanna Taylor, officer in charge, Margetta Wardle, Liz Sowards, Sue Migliori, Marie Wardle and LeMar Wardle. |
