Show Vernal Traildusters plan family ride April 18 The Vernal Traildusters, a new family saddle club, will hold a meeting April 15, 7:30 p.m. at the Tosco office, which is located above the Zions Bank. The entrance to Tosco is at the off street side of Ashton's. Anyone wishing to join the Traildusters is encouraged to attend this meeting. . On April 18 the Traildusters will be holding another trail ride. This ride is open to members and prospective members. The Traildusters will be meeting across from the Rod and Gun Club just above the sub-station at the gravel pit. The ride will start about 1 : 15 this Saturday. Terry Bastain announced plans for the first fund raising project of the year. The movie, Casey's Shadow will be shown at 2 p.m. May 9 at the Twin Cinema. While the children are enjoying en-joying the movie, parents are invited to a "yard sale" which will be held in front of the Twin Cinema. This will be a multiple family yard sale with all the members contributing something for the sale. Childrens boots, toasters, golf equipment and many items too numerous to mention will be sold that day. Tickets for the movie may be obtained from the club members mem-bers or at the door May 9. Cost of the tickets will be $1. On May 16 another horse movie will be presented. This movie is called Tonka and the cost of the tickets will remain the same, as will the time of 2 p.m. It has not been decided if a "yard sale" will be held that day also. More information will be passed along as soon as it is available. The money that is raised from these events will go towards the fun nights and the other club activities that are being planned. |
