Earl Limb, president of the Limb Corporation, receives the key from Dennis Mott, former owner. Planned for next Monday, Mon-day, April 7, at the Golden Age Center. On the menu is fried chicken; baked beans; deviled eggs; salads; cake and ice cream. See you there. Monday's dinner on March 31, the crowd of 130 enjoyed the sheperds pie. After the dinner Chief of Police Jonathan Jones spoke of the NRTA and the AARP on crime protection and how to avoid crime. Wednesday's dinner at the Vernal Junior High School, had 55 attending the turkey dinner. The 7th grade Varsity Varsi-ty Band directed by Cindy Faust entertained enter-tained the group with their lovely music. We would like to thank all of them for spending their time with us. Bingo winner for the week of March 25 was a three-way tie between Lillian Westwood, Edith Gale and Alice Mott, all with four games a piece. Second place was also a tie between Marion Swain and Rhoda Stevens both with three games. Winner for the month of March was Edith Gale with 16 games. Second place was Elvira Slaugh with 15 games and third place for the month was Marion Swain with 13 games. Blood pressure for the month of April will be held on the 28th, after the Mon- day dinner, from 2 to 5. This is held at the Golden Age Center, for anyone needing to have their blood pressure tested. Another successful dance was held Friday night. The flu bug caught up with Newel Behunin, leader of Newel's Harmony Four, thanks to Don Smith for filling in. We wish Newel a speedy recovery. Dick and Betty Jean Ufford treated everyone with cake and punch on their first wedding anniversary. Congratulations to this lovely couple. Many of the Friday night dancers attended at-tended the dance Saturday night at the Roosevelt Elementary. A get-well card was delivered to Newel Behunin Sunday Sun-day signed by many attending the dance. We'll, be looking forward to another great dance Friday and all of you be sure to circle that night on your calendar for some good clean entertainment. entertain-ment. Happy birthday goes this week to Van Massey, April 1. Van was born in -1886-and will be 94 years young the 1st, a special happy birthday to him.
