Effective Ef-fective Feb. 1, 1980 the charges will be s follows: elementary students, 55 ients, secondary students, 60 cents and jdults, $1.25. The week of January 20 to January 25 S Manila High School's "Homecoming Veek". On Jan. 25 the homecoming lame will be with Park City, Utah at Manila. This will be followed by a 'Homecoming Dance" at the Manila ligh School Gymnasium. The student t ody is busy with other activities for ; homecoming. Manila Junior Varsity girls basket-ill basket-ill team played against Dugway and st their game by a score of 13 to 20. i-ngh scorers for Manila's J.V. were J iris and Stephanie Schofield with 5 r id 4 points. Dugway high scorer was 1 lison Bruner with 8 points and Pat J alvin with 6 points. The Varsity girls won their game at ugway that night by a score of 57 to 43. igh scorer for Manila were as follows : elenda Larsen, 22; Penny Beck, 13; id Ten Miller, 11. Dugway high orers were Wold with 15 points and snkins with 11. Manila had 2 home games on Jan. 9 hen they played Wendover, Utah. The j inior Varsity girls lost their game 19 21 for Wendover. Manila's high :orer was Carma Sadlier with 9 points, endover's high scorer was Ann utierrez with 10 points. The varsity ton their game that night against Wen- dover with a score of 49 to 45 in their favor. Manila's high point player was Belenda Larsen with 25 points. The following girls had 6 points each: Teri Miller, Gwen Wilde, Christy Behunin, and Penny Beck. On Jan. 9, Manila girls played South Summit at South Summit and lost both games. The Score was 9 to 47 with Carma Sadlier Manila's high scorer. Weller was high J.V. scorer for South Summit. The varsity were trounced by South Summit the same night with a score of 20 to 64. Belenda Larsen was Manila's high scorer with only 9 points. High scorer for South Summit was Glines with 27 points. JoAnn Ralphs and her workers have been out collecting for the March of Dimes Fund and will be ready for the Telerama in Salt Lake City, Utah next weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Potter and their granddaughter of Green River, Wyoming Wyom-ing visited in Manila on Monday, Jan. 21. |
