plies flies to idaho to help fight polio Ep epidemic miss eleanor van ness daugh ter of mr and mrs J A van ness of tooele thoele was one of the six nur ses sent by the salt lake county chapter of the american red cross to help combat a growing ic of polio mey litis in the boise idaho area two nurses were sent saturday two on sunday and miss van ness and miss dansie of salt lake city left by plane monday afternoon for boise the chapter also sent complete equipment for a 50 bed emergency hospital it will be remembered that miss van ness attended the polio school in los angeles for two wee weeks ks in july sent there by the polio foun dation in a nation wide project of giving special training to reg nurses for use in such em urgencies ergen cies
