Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals will be received by the Grand County Clerks Office at Moab, Utah until 10 o'clock a.m. February 2, 1976, and at that time publicly opened for construction construc-tion of Pack Creek Box and Approaches in Grand County, the same being that section of Collector Road Route No. 421 from Station 284 75 to Station 293 00 identified as Collector Road Project No. CR-421 (2). The length of road to be constructed or improved is 0.1556 miles, and the principal items of work are approximately approxi-mately as follows: Approx. 215 cu. yd. portland cement class AA (AE), 31,859 lb. reinforcing reinforc-ing steel, 9,270 cu. yd. roadway excavation, 450 ton untreated base course, 350 ton road mix mineral aggregate. The project is to be completed complet-ed in 50 working days. Prequallfication of bidders is required. Prior to any bidder's receiving plans and specifications, specifica-tions, it will be necessary that the bidder have on file with the State Road Commission of Utah completed and approved, the required Prequallfication Statement pertaining to contractor's con-tractor's experience and finan cial condition. The attention of bidders is directed to Special Provisions covering subletting or assigning assign-ing the contract. In conformity with, and by authority of Title 34, Chapter 30, Utah Code Annotated 1953, the general prevailing rates as determined by the Industrial Commission of Utah shall be effective and apply to this project, and are the minimum wages to be paid on this project. These rates are made a part of the contract documents. The attention of bidders is directed to the fact that contractors engaged in highway high-way construction work are required to meet tf)e provisions provi-sions of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (52 Stat. 1060). Grand Courjty, in accordance with the provisions' of title Vl ' of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252), hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively affirma-tively insure that the contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of race, color or national origin.
