Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals will be received by the Grand County Clerks Office at Moab, Utah until 10 o'clock a.m. February 2, 1976, and at that time publicly opened for construction construc-tion of Mill Creek Bridge and approaches in Moab City, Grand County, the same being that section of Collector Road Route No. 419 from Station 3100 to Station 39 19.42 identified as Collector Road Project No. CR-419 (2). The length of road to be constructed or improved Is 0.1552 miles, and the principal items of work are approximately approxi-mately as. follows: 7,140 cu. yd. borrow, 390 ton untreated base, 305 ton Roadmix mineral aggregate, 800 cu. yd. rip rap. oao -i yd. Class A A ranrtrntn (AE) J2iZ59 lb. reinforcing steel, 155 cu. yd. granular backfill borrow, 4 each pre-stressed pre-stressed concrete member-(type member-(type IV AASHO beam 83' 4"). The project Is to be completed complet-ed In 90 working days. Prequallfication of bidders Is required. Prior to any bidder's receiving plans and specifications, specifica-tions, it will be necessary that the bidder have on file with the State Road Commission of Utah completed and approved, the required Prequallfication Statement pertaining to contractor's con-tractor's experience and financial finan-cial condition. The attention of bidders Is directed to Special Provisions covering subletting or assigning assign-ing the contract. In conformity with, and by. authority of Title 34, Chapter 30, Utah Code Annotated 1953, the general prevailing rates as determined by the Industrial Commission of Utah shall be effective and apply to this project, and are the minimum wages to be paid on this project. These rates are made a part of the contract documents. The attention of bidders is directed to the fact that contractors engaged in highway high-way construction work are required to meet the provisions provi-sions of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (52 Stat. 1060). Grand County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252), hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that the contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be awarded to the lowest responsible respons-ible bidder without discrimination discrimina-tion on the grounds of race, color or national origin.
