Show Grand Bond Sales for January Told A January investment of $2,373,990 by Utahn's in United States Series E-H Savings Bonds showed a $291,518 increase over the same month a year ago, according to an announcement made today by State Bond Chairman Wendell E. Gile and State TSIA Chairman John E. Lattin. Grand County volunteer Savings Bonds Chairman Robert Rob-ert A. Dalton reported today that the. county's January sales total for E-H. Bonds came to $4,232. Two training and orientation seminars on promoting and conducting Payroll Savings Drives for U.S. Savings Bonds were held for company management man-agement and campaign chairmen chair-men on March 5 and 12 with Mr. Lattin as sponsor and host. Approximately one hundred companies, school districts, colleges, universities, state and federal governmental a-gencies a-gencies representing some 120,000 employees were in attendance to hear plans for the 1976 promotion. Nationally during January there were new purchases of E-H Bonds amounting to $693 million, 7.0 percent below January a year ago. Interesl earned and added to the value of outstanding E Bonds was $320 million, compared to $29? million last January.
