Show BIM Hires New Personnel For Canyon Area New employees in the Canyon Resource Area, Moab District, of Bureau of Land Management, are Brian Mills and Kenneth J. Oster, according accord-ing to Area Manager C. Delano Backus, Monticello. Mr. Mills, a wildlife biologist, biolo-gist, comes to BLM from Amoco Production (Standard of Indiana) where he worked as Research Technologist. He graduated in May 1975 from Oklahoma State University at Stillwater, Okla., with a BS degree in Wildlife Management. Manage-ment. He and his wife, Denise, have two children, Brian Jason and Bethany Jennifer. His hobbies are golfing, hunting, and fishing. Mr. Oster, who will work as a Soils Scientist, comes from Concord, Calif. He is a 1975 graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, majoring major-ing in Soils and Plant Nutrition. He was formerly employed in the quality control department of a California manufacturer of bricks and lightweight aggregates. His avocations include systematic sys-tematic botany and guitar. He was been a teacher of guitar for three years in the San Francisco Bay area. |
