Show Services Friday for Ruth J. Marsing Funeral services will be held Friday, April 16 at 2 p.m. in the L.D.S. Church for Ruth Johnson Marsing, who died in a Salt Lake hospital April 1 1 of complications after surgery. Ruth was born June 3, 1930 in Moab to Milton Edwin and Nora Mae Dalton Johnson. Nora Mae died shortly after Ruth was born, and her father later married Ruth Westwood Johnson, who raised Ruth and was always regarded by her as mother. She married Leon Willis Marsing June 30, 1948, and the marriage was later solemnized in the Manit LDS Temple. At the time of Ruth's death, the Marsings were residing in Norwood, Colorado, Colo-rado, where they operated a cafe since moving there 3 years ago. She was a member of the L.D.S. Church and attended schools in Moab. Survivors include her husband, hus-band, Leon; sons, Richard of Moab, and Randy of Norwood, Colorado; daughters, Connie Tangreen, Moab, Bunny Den-ney, Den-ney, Granger, Sheryl Pectol, Holden; parents, Milton and Ruth Johnson; 15 grandchildren grandchild-ren and 16 brothers and sisters. Brothers are Karl, Grand Junction, Rolla E., Arvada, Colo., Donald Anthon, Kays-ville, Kays-ville, Wayne, Grants Pass, Ore., John D., Salt Lake City, Ralph and Loren, Moab, and Joseph, Spanish Fork. Sisters are Mildred Cooley, Moab, Ida Mae Palmer, Blanding, Eileen Cheatum, Leadville, Colo., Melva Martin, Mar-tin, Denver, Martha Burgess, Reno, Nev., Enid dcBlaquiere, Rupert, Idaho, Berdene Gram-lich, Gram-lich, Moab, and Mary Black, Monticello. Ruth was preceeded in death by her mother, Nora Mae Johnson, son, Johnny Marsing, and sister, Mary Hanley. Visitors may call at Turner Funeral Hopife between 6 and 8 p.m. Thursday, and one hour prior to the services in the LDS Chapel. Burial will be in Grand Valley Cemetery. . i Hp RUTH J. MARSING |
