You're really in back country on Gemini Bridges trail The Gemini Bridges trail, led by Urban Line-han, Line-han, penetrates the rugged rug-ged and highly scenic country northwest of the Colorado River, in and along the Bull Canyon system. Length of this trip, which is suitable for all four-wheel drive vehicles, ve-hicles, is 63 miles. Driving highlights include in-clude a cliffhanging section sec-tion of road overlooking U.S. 163, a chance to drive over one of the bridges, and a challenging descent of Long Canyon. Spectacular Spectac-ular views across the Land Behind the Rocks to the snowcapped LaSals can be had from the top of the bridges and from Pucker Pass. Jughandle Arch, the dinosaur tracks, and Indian In-dian petroglyphs are among am-ong items of interest along the Colorado River gorge on the way back to Moab. Participants on this trail have the option, on their own, to make a brief side trip to Dead Horse Point State Park, which offers the most impressive panorama pan-orama of any overlook on the Colorado River. Those choosing this option can return to Moab by either Pucker Pass, Long Canyon, Can-yon, and the Colorado gorge, or by paved Routes 313 and 163. This trip is rich in the variety of scenic attractions attrac-tions available, and the challenges for the four-wheelers four-wheelers make it a lot of fun.
