NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETINU Or THE STOCKHOLDERS OF THE GUARDIAN FIRE INSURANCE COMPANY. To all Stockholders: Notice Is hereby given that a special meeting of the stock-nolaers stock-nolaers of Uie Guardian i ire insurance company, a corporation organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of -the state of Utah, will be had and held at the office of said company in the American building, No. 334 South Main street. Salt Lake City, Utah, on Thursday, the 4th day of December, PJ19, at tlie hour ot '2 o'clock p.. no, Said meeting will be had and held for the purpose of transacting trans-acting such business as may properly be brought before said meeting, and particularly par-ticularly for the purpose ot" considering the advisability of amending the articles of incorporation of said company in the toilowing particulars, to wit : Amend article IV of the articles of incorporation in-corporation so that the same shall read as follows: "The company is formed for the purpose of making insurances on dwelling houses, stores, all kinds of buildings, household furniture and other property, against loss or damage including io.-s of use or occupancy occu-pancy by fire, lightning, windstorm, tornado, tor-nado, cyclone, earthquake, hail, frost or snow, bombardment, invasion, insurrection, insurrec-tion, riot, civil war or commotion, military mili-tary or usurped power, and by explosion, whether fire ensues or not (except upon steam boilers and pipes, fly-wheels, engines en-gines and machinery connected therewith or operated thereby, against explosion and accident, and against loss or damage to life or property resulting therefrom; and except against loss of use and occupancy caused thereby ); also against loss or damage by water to any goods or premises arising from the breakage or leakage of sprinklers, pumps or other apparatus erected for extinguishing fires, and of water pipes, and against accidental Injury In-jury to such sprinklers, pumps or other apparatus; also upon vessels, boats, cargoes, car-goes, goods, merchandise, freights and other property against loss or damage by all or any of the risks of lake, river, canal and inland navigation and transportation; and also Insurances upon automobiles! whether stationary or being operated under un-der the'..' own power, which shall include all or any 6J the hazards of fire, explosion, explo-sion, transportation, collision, loss by legal liability for damges to propertv resulting re-sulting from the maintenance and use of automobiles, and loss by burglary or theft, or both, but shall not include insurance in-surance against loss by reason of bodily injury to the person; also to' effect reinsurance rein-surance of any risks taken by it."
