City officials In conference today with representatives of the Toledo Railway & Light company In an effort to settle the street car uues-tlon uues-tlon and restore service, which has been suspended more than two weeks. Insisted upon the Insertion of a maximum rate of fare in the Taylor plan ordinance. Attorney At-torney Dewey C. Bailey, company representative, repre-sentative, did nor agree to the plan which will be presented to the council. Therefore There-fore there was no Immediate promise of settlement in today's conferences. The case has reached the United State district court and Is set for hearing Wednesday morning, when it will be decided de-cided whether the public utilities commission com-mission of Ohio has jurisdiction over street railways.
