SAYS ARKANSAS WILL SETTLE OWN PROBLEM By Universal Service. LITTLE ROCK, Ark.. Nov. 24. The state of Arkansas will continue to handle its race problem without permitting outside out-side interference. Governor Brough said here today. In addressing a conference of whites and negroes. The conference was held to discuss plans for betterment of relations between the two races. More than 400 delegates attended. "The state will handle its own problems, prob-lems, wit:. out going to race betterment organizations In New York City and To-pekn, To-pekn, Kan.." the governor said.
