OCR Text	Show MAYNARD TO START FLIGHT THIS WEEK M1XEOLA. Ix I., Nov. 24. Lieutenant Belviu W. Maynard, one of the winners In the army's recent transcontinental air race, will start from here Wednesday or Thursday morning on Ids attempted one-stop one-stop cross-country flight, - it was announced an-nounced today. He plans to fly from here to Dallas. Texas, where he will stay over night, and 50 on the next day to San Diego, Cat. Lieutenant Maynard will Use a specially designed De Haviland 4 machine, known as the "Greyhound." The machine is. capable of attaining a speed of 150 miles an hour, and has an unusually large storage stor-age capacity for oil and gasoline. A mechanic me-chanic will be carried as a passenger.
