Kins at Washington Washing-ton : The Progressive, county committee, at a regularly called meeting, tonight passed a resolution that you be urged to vote, and work for the passage of the federal suffrage amendment. It is obviously the duty of our representatives represen-tatives to carry out the will of their constituents, and we feel that anything any-thing less than the unanimous and whole-hearted support of one of the oldest of the suffrage states would fall short of our duty in the present emergency, particularly in view of the fact that woman's work in this crisis has convinced President Wilson of the ! justice and expediency of now offering offer-ing to the other half of our cltiaens the recognition they have earned. |
