Show POWER LINES TO ALTA DISTRICT REPAIRED Mines Resuming Operations Aftet Cessation of Activities for More Than Week. Repairs have been made to the power lines in the Alta-Coltonwood districts and the mines are resuming operations, after an idleness of more than a week. The roads have been broken to many of the properties, but are not yet solid enough to permit the movement of the heavy ore sleds. Reports from Alta and from the mines in Big Cottonwood indicate that the weather is all that could be asked and that the roads will be in condition con-dition to resume the movement of ore not later than the first of the coming week. , Manager C. R. Greene of the Tar Baby received a report fi-om the mine yester-dav yester-dav to the effect that the power line had been restored Tuesday afternoon and that the miners had put in a full day Wednesday Wednes-day and were still at work Thursday. The road up the canyon fork to the Tar Baby-had Baby-had not been opened, but It was expected that it would be broken by tonight or tomorrow.
