Show SALES OF STAMPS LUG IN CITY Utah must sell nearly 53,000,000 of war savings stamps before the last day of this year or otherwise the state will not make good its pledge to the government that it would go over the top as it has in all other calls made upon it. While the war has ended. Uncle Sam will continue to need money and this money must be raised either through the sale of bonc'.s, war savings stamps or by taxation. The first week in December the great drive for war savings stamps will be made. F.vcry citizen will be called on to buv more stamps. There !s still room foi1 members in the ?lu00 and $500 clubs. While the limit is SIOOO to a single purchaser, pur-chaser, each member of the family can own that amount. The women's organizations In Salt Uake county will all be called upon to aid in the drive. The women's committee is headed by Mrs. Uee Charles Miller and this committee is working In conjunction with all ollur women's committees in bringing up the sales of war savings stamps to the requested quota. |
