Show WESTERN ALLIES !S DIL1AT1SB According to tlie Grand 'Valley Times (Moab,, the Western Allies' Oil company, of which Nat Levy is president, has already al-ready begun drilling for oil. its well site being located In the city of Moab. Last Friday's issue of the paper stated that the rig was already erected and that drilling would be commenced the following fol-lowing dav. The Times further says: "J. W. DeWitt. the driller, arrived the last of tlie week from Salt IaUe City and Immediately commenced preparations for drilling. A short "delay was experienced, experi-enced, due to failure of some bits to arrive ar-rive on time, but they were received last night. "Nat Levi, president of the Western Allies' company, intends to pusli tlie operations op-erations on the well, and it will be put down just as rapidly as possible. Two shifts will be employed, and the oil camp will likely be the busiest place in the valley. "The oil operations have occasioned much interest here, and the beginning of operations will likelv be witnessed by many Moab people. Since the first well, located on the Jesse Maxwell farm, is only three blocks from the main part of town, the rig will doubtless be the center cen-ter of attraction from now on.
