Show HELP AUTO ASSOCIATION. Alt indications point to a strong and powerful organization in the new Utah j State Automobile association. Its membership mem-bership is composed of many of the substantial sub-stantial citizens of the community, and the directorate is made up of aggressive and successful business and professional men. All are citizens and taxpayers of Utah and all have the interests of Utah at heart. With the automobile becoming daily more and more important in the transportation trans-portation and industrial activities of the ! state, the importance of better streets jand highways is obvious. It. is no more i than natural that those engaged in the jusc of the automobile should be better (fitted to julge these needs than others I who do not use them. And since a vast ! majority of automobile owners are tax- payers, and heavy taxpayers, they can be depended upon to urge a conservative course in spending the people s money rather than to make any radical demands. de-mands. It often happens that business or professional men, whose interests j take tjhem to and from various sections 'of the state, are better qualified to judge the highway needs of the state than the men selected by law to do this work.
