Show ASK INJUNCTION AGAINST CUSTODIAN NEW YORK. Nov. 26. An Injunction to restrain A. Mitchell Palmer, alien property prop-erty custodian, from selling the Botany worsted mills as enemy property was sought In federal court today by Max W. Stoehr of tho firm of Stoehr & Sons, owners of 20,590 shares of the stock, on the ground that the sale would violate the constitution of the United States and commercial treaties with favored nations. The complaint alleged the sale of the property to Americans only, as proposed by Mr. Palmer, would he "unreasonable and injurious" to the plaintiff and that it would prohibit all persons and corporations cor-porations of the nations of the world with which the United States is at peace from lawfully bidding at the sale. |
