Show STANDARD PARTS Gil USED pi JOH CARS The Jordan cars are here, and the most sanguine expectations of the moat ardent Jordan booster have surely been fulfilled, for seldom has an automobile manufacturer manufac-turer succeeded in turning out a car so gracefully proportioned; so obviously a car of quality, and in such a beautiful variety of color combinations, as the Jordan Jor-dan Motor Car company. When seen yesterday Bernard G. Byers, who has brought the Jordan into this territory, said: "It is useless for me to deal in superlatives in describing the Jordan Jor-dan car. It is well qualified to speak for itself. I -know of no better way to express ex-press my opinion of the car as well as the opinions of thousands who are now using the Jordan than by quoting a letter let-ter I have received from a Jordan owner. own-er. The letter follows: "In my experience with higher-priced higher-priced cars than the Jordan, the manufacturers of which boast that nearly every unit or part is 'made in our own factory,' I had difficulty in obtaining satisfactory adjustments in ordinary garages on account of unfamiliar unfa-miliar ity of employees with the details de-tails of their construction. "Every unit used in Jordan construction con-struction is a standard, high-grade unit, and so well known that the question of necessary adjustments is a simple one, and I am one who believes be-lieves that a manufacturer who specializes spe-cializes in motors, carburetors, generators, genera-tors, or any of the thousand and one parts of which a motor car is made, can undoubtedly produce a better article ar-ticle than a motor car manufacturer who attempts to 'make everything un-. der one roof.' "I was one of the early purchasers of a Jordan car, and my decision in the matter was influenced by what I considered the correctness of Jordan policy in assembling the best of everything ev-erything in a complete whole. I am satisfied that I am the possessor of a better car than had those responsible responsi-ble for its production attempted the manufacture of all of its important individual units. "In appear;! nee it will please the most fastidious, and if actual performance per-formance may be taken as an indication indica-tion of quality the Jordan is certainly a quality car from start to finish. I congratulate you on having secured the agency -for this splendid motor car, and wish you the success that you are bound to realize in handling this line." |
