Show ORPHANS' CAMPAIGN COMES 10 A CLOSE 38 Children Adopted and $400 Raised by Salt Lake Friends of French. The nation-wide two weeks' campaign for the rasing of a fund sufficient to provide pro-vide for 130,000 French orphans closed in Salt Lake with yesterday's thirteen contributions con-tributions and sixteen pledges. During the two weeks of the campaign in this city $400 was taken in contributions contribu-tions and thirty-eight children adopted, and. while the national campaign closed yesterday, the Salt L,ake Committee for Fatherless Children of France declares that local activities will still be continued in an effort to take care of the balance of the 200 little French orphans assigned to 8a It .Lake. T. W. Boyer, treasurer of the committee, commit-tee, will receive contributions at the Continental Con-tinental National bank. Th.e following contributions were re ceived vesterday: John C. Pierpont, $3; W-Duquet, W-Duquet, ?l; John C Cutler. 30 cents; proceeds pro-ceeds from children's matinee at American Amer-ican theater. S-S.S5.
