Show EXERCISES ARE HELD AT POCATELLO HIGH Superintendent E. A. Smith of Salt Lake City Is the Principal Speaker. Special to The Tribune. POCATELLO, Idaho, June 2. The commencement exercises of the Poca-tello Poca-tello high school were held Friday evening even-ing in the school auditorium, and a class of thirty-four students received diplomas. di-plomas. The speaker of the evening was Su- geriutendent Ernest A. Smith of the alt Lake City schools, who made an inspiring address to the graduates. The high school orchestra accompanied the girls' chorus, and the work o these two musical organizations was most creditable. credit-able. Principal J. F. Lewis gave the farewell fare-well address to the senior class, and Dr. O. B. Steely of the board of trustees presented the diplomas. An air of romanco hovers over this year 's class, one of the girls, Claire Lucille Murphy having married before the date of graduation, while several of the boys have entered their country's service. |
