Show BIDS ARE OPENED FOR STREET PAVING One of the Proposed Extensions Is Contingent Upon New Bond Issue. The city commission opened bids yesterday yes-terday on' three proposed paving extensions," exten-sions," two sidewalk extensions and one sewer extension. They were referred to the city engineer for tabulation. The proposed paving extensions are Ninth South street, i rom Mam to Fifth Last street ; Third Kast street, from Ninth South to Belmont avenue, and Canyon Can-yon road, from Second to third avenue. The last is continge it upon the proposed bond issue of $1.50vi,mOO which is to be submitted to the vote of the taxpayers Juno 20. The others have already been authorized. The sewer extension is to be on Fourth North street, from West "Capitol to Columbus Co-lumbus street, ami on Columbus street from Fourth North street to a point Hf feet north of Girard avenue. The sidewalk extensions include the nor tii sloe of California street from Kighth West to the Jordan river, an J Klghth West street from Thirteenth South 5uuth street. to a point S00 feet south of Fourteenth |
