Show BILL WOULD SUSPEND ASSESSMENT WORK Special to The Tribune. WASHINGTON, June 19. Senator Smoot today Introduced a bill suspending for the period of the war and six months after its close the law requiring assessment assess-ment work on mining claims. The claimant, claim-ant, to secure the benefit of the suspension, suspen-sion, will be required to file notice on or before December 1 of each year In the land office for the district in which the land is situated.
