Palisade, near which place the river's channel was blocked, is about twenty miles from here. The Denver & Ro Grande railroad Is blocked by the action of the stream. It is not known yet whether the change of course will be permanent. Among the buildings washed away were the station and the section house of the railroad and several smaller structures. |
