Show RANGES FOR NEW BARRACKS DELAYED Because of failure of arrival of the carload of ranges expected for installation installa-tion in the new regimental cantonments, the official inspection of the barracks planned for yesterday afternoon by Colonel Alfred HasbroucU and Majors L. B. Simonds and W. C. Rogers, commanders command-ers of the Forty-hird and Forty-second infant lies, was postponed. The inspection will not be made until the ranges arrive and are installed, as this official inspection will virtually mean a formal acceptance of the barracks from the contractors. The water connections, of course, have not been completed, as the ranees are not installed, so that the troops cannot be moved until this detail has been attended to. It is expected, however, that the regiments will be able to move by Friday of this week. |
