Show ARMY NEEDS BUYERS OF ORDNANCE STORES William Crozier, brigadier general, chief of ordnance, according to word received by the local army recruiting office, lias Issued a call for high-class specialists to purchaso and distribute necessary ordnances ord-nances and ordnance stores for the army and national guard, including cannon, etc., apparatus and machines for service of artillery, small arms, aeeoutermentrt, tools, machinery and materials, motor trucks, motorcycles, tractors and railroad cars. Men who know such supplies and materials are to be enlisted in the ordnance ord-nance enlisted reserve corps a preferred clajs which is given preference over men obtained by draft in priority of assignment. assign-ment. Members of the ordnance enlisted reserve re-serve corps are not required to drill with rifles, perforin guard duty or other military mili-tary duties which fall to the lot of soldiers, sol-diers, unless in case of emergency, but are required to handle the increased business busi-ness resulting from war. Such men will be discharged at the termination of the war. Married men. may be -enlisted. |
