Show FAILS TO BRING IN BOMB INFORMATION Two Officers "Wait in Vain at Bamberger Bam-berger Depot for Writer of Letter. The man who wrote the note and signed himself "One who knows." promising to give certain information which would lead to the aire.-rt and conviction of those responsible re-sponsible tor endangering the lives of Governor Gov-ernor Pprv's family Christmas morning, failed to appear at a designated spot as stated at ;i o'clock last n in lit. J. Parlev White, chief of police, said thai the note stated that officers should meet the man near tiie Bambergf-r depot. Two officers were sent to Die p'.ace. in an automobile. They kept -a strict watch for any man who might give them a signal, bui nobody appeared. After wailing until II o'clock, the officers offi-cers returned u the station. i ney reported re-ported that they did not see any individual indi-vidual as expected. The writer of the note said that he would give the Information provided that he received the reward and his immunity from prosecution was guaranteed. Chief White considered at the time that the note had a genuine ring, and consequently conse-quently sent the officers to the scene.
