That a new sugar factory is assured northern Utah is evident from the fact that the articles of incorporation of the "West Cache Sugar company were J filed yesterday at the office of the county clerk'of Cache county at Lnan. I j The company has been incorporated ; ! with a capital stock of $800,000. The j j stock is divided into SU0U shares at I ! $100 a share, all in one class. Tn order that the company mnv be I properly financed and have sufficient I funds for all purposes, including the ; jmrchase and reconstruction of the plant, a bond issue of 300,000 has been made, all of which has been alreadv subscribed. It is stated bv the officers offi-cers that neither in selling .the stock nor floating the bond issue have any stock salesmen been employed or any promotion scheme of anv nature been indulged in. This plan, 'it is said, will be adhered to in disposing of the' remainder re-mainder of the stock. Contracts have been entered into by the new company j whereby the plant of the Knight Sugar i company, now located at Raymond, Al- j berta, Canada, is to be dismantled, transported to Cache vallev, enlarged and brought, up to date and'put in run-! ning order , not later that September l of nest year. This means that it will 1 be ready for next year's crop. I The exact site of' the factory has not' yet been determined, although eight different dif-ferent locations have been" offered the company, and a committee representing the stockholders has examined each of them. It is announced that the definite site will be selected next week. Farmers Are Enthusiastic. The farmers of the district are enthusiastically en-thusiastically supporting the new plant and have already guaranteed G0O0 acres of beets next year. This will insure j the plant running the maximum ca-j ca-j pacity during the entire operating season. sea-son. I The principal place of business will be 'Logan, but steps have been taken I looking toward the establishment of general offices in Salt Lako. Temporary Tempo-rary offices have already been established estab-lished at the Ash ton-Jenkins company, in charge of Lon J. Haddock, secretary of the sugar company, and early in the week the officers will meet here to de- term in e upon the location and extent of offices to be maintained in this city. I The final details of the organization I will be perfected when the officers meet during the coming week and steps j ! will be taken to insure the carrying ' j out of the company's plans for handling i i the beet crop the coming year.
