Show v K OF SADDLERY : FIRM 15 CUBED Los Angeles Saddlery and Finding Company Is Now Lichtenberger-Ferguson. After engaging in the saddlery and shoe findings business for the past seventeen years under the name of the Los Angeles Saddlery & Finding company, com-pany, officials of that well known concern con-cern have deemed it advisable to change the name. Permission was granted this week bv the court to change the name to Lichteii-berger-Ferguson company, and the saddlery sad-dlery house is being reincorporated under un-der this name. The same individuals who have been associated with the saddlery house for years pastr will continue to share the responsibilities of the new firm, and the re-elected officers are: Louis Lichen Lich-en tenberger, president; Clarence Ferguson. It vice president; George W. Lichtenber ger, secretary; Roy E. Meads, assistant secretary. Up to about a year ago the local firm was" engaged only in distributing sad- dlcry merchandise and shoe findings, but in order to keep abreast of the times, several lines of automobile accessories ac-cessories were added, including the factory fac-tory distribution of Norfolk tires. During Dur-ing the past twelve mouths sales of the latter have grown so rapidly that at present the tire sales are said to constitute con-stitute over one-half the firm's entire business. This condition, together with the fact that the Los Angeles concern is opening a branch establishment in San Francisco, has prompted them to change the name now rather than wait until a future date, when it will be absolutely ab-solutely necessary to make a. change. It is said that this firm is the largest saddlery a-nd shoe finding establishment establish-ment west of the Mississippi river. The Norwalk Tire company, at the corner of Pico and Hope streets, which is a subsidiary company to the Los Angeles An-geles Saddlery & Finding company, will also hereafter be known as the Lichtenberger-Ferguson company, and will continue con-tinue to be the Los Angeles service station sta-tion of the head concern. |
