The ' ceremony was performed by A1v:l Ij. Sco-1 Sco-1 ville at 7 o'clock, fn the presence of relatives rela-tives and closest friends. A lare reception recep-tion followed. Kail flowers In artistic profusion were used in the decorations. The stairway in the reception hall was trimmed with sniilax, interwoven with purple chrysanthemums. Tall chrysanthemums chrysan-themums were, placed about the room. Over the windows in one end of the drawing draw-ing room was a canopy formed of stnllax ; and white chrvs.mt he mums, rink roses nd smilax wore used in the library and diiiins room. The dinins table had a basket of Ophelia roses, on n duchess lace cover, as a centerpiece. Kxtondinn from the chandelier to the edge of the table were festoons of smilax. The conservatory, con-servatory, where refreshments were served, was converted Into n Japanese garden. White and purple asters, arranged ar-ranged in vases, adorned each table. The bride wore a gown of white satin with pearl trimmings. A lon tulle veil fell below the court t ra in a nd was held in place wilh a Russian headdress of pearls. Her honniet was a shower of white rosebuds rose-buds and purple orchids. The matron of honor, Mrs. Louis H. Peery, the bride's sister, was frowned In rose-pink silk, embroidered em-broidered In silver, and carried white chrysani hemums. Miss Kllen Scoweroft, the maid of honor, wore Alice blue, satin, trimmed in silver. I (er houcpiet was of lavender chrysanthemums. The tra in -bearers. TKirothy and Virginia Scoweroft, wore pink chiffon with butterfly bows of pink tulle on their hair. Coorge S warier wa-rier of Salt Ijoko. brother of the bridegroom, bride-groom, was best man. An orchestra, stationed sta-tioned in the music room, furnished music during' the ceremony and throughout the evening.
