Show SHOOTING SUSPECT PUT UNDER ARREST Detectives Make Capture Several Days After Affray "by Foliowing Wife of Alleged Gun Weilder. Charged with having shot Orrin C. Iloldaway and P. J. Rogers in a fight over a crap game in a poolroom at the rear of the Wasatch bar, 127 South West Temple street, last Wednesday night, K. J. Ross, 35 years of age, describing himself him-self as an artist, was arrested at the St. George Hotel veslcrdav bv Detectives J. A. Egbert. O. A. Williams, F. M. Glenn and C W. Blair. For days detectives trailed a woman who they believed was Ross's wife or sweetheart. They found that she lived at the Lake hotel and kept constant watch there. On Sunday the woman is said to have moved from the Lake hotel to the St. George. They found where she was going by following a trunk which was taken from her room. When the detectives entered the room yesterday they found Ross in the act of dressing. The woman, who said she was Ross's wife, was taken to the station to be questioned. According to Ross, he said that he never told his wife any of his business. Rnss will be taken to a local hospital today to confront the men he is said to have shot. Since the shooting both Iloldaway and Rogers have been reticent. |
