Richards will attend at-tend the school hoard meeting next Friday Fri-day evening to present arguments in support sup-port of bis contention that Dr. Rich defeated de-feated H. H. Henderson at the recent school election by eleven votes. In t lie absence from the city of Attorney Richards Rich-ards last Friday night. Attorney George ITalverson was present as counsel for Dr. Rich when t he official canvass of the election was made by tlie school board member. Attorney Valentine Gideon, counsel for the board of education, has written to Attorney General A. R. Barnes requesting his opinion in the case. The attorney's i request was accompanied by a detailed I report from Miss Viola M. Clancy, clerk of the board, setting forth tlie exact conditions con-ditions with regard to the vote in the ; Fourth ward. A reply from the attorney i general is expected before the Friday ! night meeting.
