Show SANTELL WILL MEET "STRANGLER" LEWIS SAN FRANCISCO. Dec. 11. The wrestling wres-tling match scheduled here tomorrow night between "Strangler" Lewis, the Ken-tuckian, Ken-tuckian, and Ad Santell, regarded as the Pacific coast champion, will be in the nature na-ture of a championship contest, according to local sporting authorities. With Frank Gotch apparently retired, and Lewis and Joe Stecher considered j the two men next tn line for the heavy-i heavy-i weight mat crown, credited with a five-hour five-hour draw bout, Santell, in the event of a victory over Lewis, would be conceded considerable right to the title. The bout is timed to two hours and calls for a decision whether or not there is a fall. Should neither man succeed in throwing the other, the contest will be awarded to the man making- the better showing. Lewis will have an advantage in weight of forty or forty-five pounds over his rival. |
