Juniors 5 1 .800 Sophomores 3 '1 .600 Freshmen 1 2 .33:1 Seniors 0 3 .OUO The juniors cinched the class series at the West high school yesterday afternoon when they defeated the sophomores, 32 to 1, in an easy fashion. The defeat of the juniors last Thursday at the hands of the sophs necessitated the playing of another an-other game to bieak the tie. and the juniors easily showed their right to the title. The juniors defeated the sophomores twice inii each of the other classes once and finished with a percentage of .S00, with the sophs following with .600. From the start the juniors had the better bet-ter of the going and the result was never in doubt. The sophomores were, handicapped handi-capped by the loss of Vernal Funk, their star guard, while . the juniors were strengthened by the addition of Jumbo Watson. In the first half the juniors piled up 22 points, while the sophs, through some loose guarding, were able to corner two goals. In the second half the, gym was dark and the juniors, with a different lineup, were not able to find the hoop as often. Jumbo Watson proved the best man in the scoring column. He placed nine goals through the hoop- Leonard made four field goals while Pyke shot three for the sophs. The game was the cleanest yet played and only four fouls were called. The Hneup: JUNIORS 32.
