Show EAST SENIORS WIN FROM SOPH QUINT The seniors outplayed the sophomores yesterday in the East high school class series and won by the score of 27 to 7. From the start the advantage was on the side of the upper classmen, and their younger opponents were at no time able to cut down the ever-increasing lead or prevent the huskies from scoring. Although the game was not exciting for the -spectators, occasional! v an unusual occurrence would keep the "interest up in the contest. The work of E- Hurd, play- , ing a guard for the seniors, was of a high order. He was high scorer in the game. Ware ing and Thomas also worked well for the fourth-year students and featured the day with their aggressive style of play. For the sophomores, Anderson Ander-son and Duffy played the most consistent i ball and were the onlv members of the team that could locate the hoop. The junior and frcshie fives each took on the "H" men . and coach Fitzpatrick for a twenty-minute period and at the finish of these two halves the final score J totaled 77 to 14 for the letter men. The f regulars shot baskets from all angles and their totals for field goals are as follows: Chipman 11. Fitzpatrick 11, Ottinger 7, Romney 4, Peabody 9. The veterans are fast getting into old-time form and will i be in fine shape for their first hoop con-test con-test next Friday night with American Fork. Homer L.
