Show J. P. MEAKIN'S BODY ARRIVES IN THE CITY Tiie body of J. P. Meakin. who died a few days ago in Washington, arrived in the city yesterday morning at 11:5 o'clock. Accompanying the body were the widow and Dr. F W. Meakin. Members of the family here received the bodv. There were also present members of the Elks, the Eagles, the Knights of Pvthfas and the Woodmen of the World. The body was conveyed to the undertaking undertak-ing parlors of Eber W. Hall and it will be removed today to the Elks' club, where it may he viewed from 11 a. m. to 2:l0 p. m. At the latter hour the funeral services, which will be in charge of the Elks, assisted by the Eagles, will commence. com-mence. The Rev. Elmer I. Goshen and Judge M. M. Warner will be the principal sneakers. "interment will take place at Mt. Olivet cemetery, where the Woodmen of the World and the Knights of Pythias will dedicate the grave. |
