Show FRANCE FOLLOWS. The British ministry, having .been reconstructed solely for war purposes, a war council of five ministers formed on the same model will take charge of such matters in France. As the Matin puts it, "Premier Briand has decided, in the interest of the economic organization organiza-tion of the country, to throw the old administrative machine into the -melting pot and oblig6 all ministerial departments depart-ments hitherto congealed in superannuated superannu-ated methods to got in line with the rest of the country, which is freely spending its blood and gold." All the ministers and undersecretaries are to hand in their resignations at once, and the new ministry, with Premier Pre-mier Briand at the head, will appear before be-fore the chamber of deputies today for a vote of confidence. The reorganization reorganiza-tion of the higher command in the army will await the outcome in the deputies. According to Premier Briand, the most absolute powers will be granted the new ministry, and drastic measures will be taken if there is any show of resistance. It is said that the reconstruction of the cabinet will be complete and that the ' list of officers will contain many new names.
