Show KEYTING RECIPIENT OF A HANDSOME RING Night Lieutenant of Police Is Remembered Remem-bered by the Men Who Work Under Un-der His Direction. Lieutenant W. S. Keyting, in charge of the night force of the city police, was the recipient last night of a Christmas gift consisting of a gold thirty-two degree Masonic Ma-sonic ring, studded with diamonds, from those who work under him or with him throughout the year during the time that the city sleeps. Patrolman L. L. Larson made the presentation pres-entation speech. He said that in Lieutenant Lieu-tenant Keyting the force had a man of , whom every citizen could be proud. The ! lieutenant, he remarked, had endeared . himself lo all by his unfailing courtesy and he thought that the gift expressed 1 only in a slight degree the regard felt by every member of tiie force. Lieutenant -Keyting briefly replied. Ho said that the gift was a surprise and that the spirit which prompted the presentation j was appreciated to the utmost. j |
