Show PRESIDENT'S NOTE AS VIEWED BY THE MADRID LIBRALE PARIS, Dec. 24, 4 :45 p. m. A Madrid dispatch to the Temps says: Official and political circles continue con-tinue Impenetrable relating to President Presi-dent Wilson's note. The Lihrale asks ironically: "How has it come about that President Wilson Wil-son is so philanthropic after having preserved his long impassibility in the presence of the crime perpetrated in Belgium by the Teuton hordes? This manifestation of pacificism which was comprehensible before the elections, elec-tions, is not so now. As for Spain, she must remain outside a certain propaganda replete with danger." |
