Show MINES DEVELOPMENT GETTING RESULTS ' Lease on Property Out of Lund Is Yielding Profitable Returns, Re-turns, Tron county has a real lead mine, in the opinion of Fred L,. Schrott and D. N. " Swayze of the Mines Development com-!. com-!. pany, who returned from "Lund yesterday morning. The mine is thirty miles west of Iund and Is known as the No. 3 lease of the development company. The company com-pany has a bond on fojir claims and locations loca-tions on five others. ri. A motor truck and trailer, with a haul-ing haul-ing capacity of ten tons a day, are in service between the mine and the railroad, rail-road, and the management expects to '" keep the outfit loaded to its capacity. I') Early in the month the west drift from the bottom of the shaft broke into an '' immense cavern which exposes the vein V, for sixty feet and is apparently on top of a huge ore body. The top of the cav8 i is so near the surface that a new exit- i " way for the ore will be found immedi- ately. The shipments come from an underhand .' stope, which is said to be surrounded en-tirely en-tirely by ore. The first car from the mine was shipped September 15 and the seventh and eighth are now awaiting set-.:' set-.:' tlement. |
