Eicciardi, formerly Clara De Kiquet, Princess De Chimay, formerly Clara L. Ward, and a petition for letters let-ters testamentary, were filed in the probate pro-bate court here today by John "W. Gary. The petition recites that the estate is worth approximately $1,1 24,935. Hu' in personal property and $50,000 in real estate, practically all of which is left to Giuseppe liicciardi, 1 who is in Italy, Marie de Chimay, a daughter, and Joseph Jo-seph de Chimay, a son, who reside in Paris. Mrs. Clara L. Blakeslee of Chicago, Chi-cago, a cousin, is given a bequest of $15,000. Under the terms of the will the estate is to be divided into three trust funds for the benefit of the husband hus-band and two childJ-en. The will was signed in 3 904. Mrs. Eicciardi died in Italy several days ago. She was t1'? daughter of E. B. Ward, a millionaire publisher of Detroit. De-troit. Mich. The trust fund created for Eicciardi, the will provides, is to be used for his maintenance, the income to be paid him quarterly, and at the time of his death is to revert to the children. The trust funds of the two children are to be held until they become of age, and the income in-come to be used for their education and maintenance. In the petition Mr. Gary raised the query as to how a .indicia 1 separation between the decedent and Eicciardi in 1911 would affect the husband's inheritance, inher-itance, asserting that he was not informed in-formed as to the status of the provision in the will establishing the trust fund for the benefit of Eicciardi. inasmuch as the will was drawn in 1904. |
